Orkney Angora St Magnus 50g

Beautiful soft 50% Angora 50% Lambswool yarn.
Produced from grade 1 angora rabbit fur this yarn is soft and non-itchy even for those with sensitive skin. The yarn is unbrushed and with knitting and wear it will become more fluffy producing the characteristic angora look. The yarn is hand dyed in small batches in Orkney, Scotland. There is subtle shade variation in the yarn which adds to its natural beauty. Tension 22sts x 28 rows per 10cm square, using 4.5mm needles. This light yarn has a generous meterage of approx. 200m on a 50g ball. Mild machine wash or hand wash. No rabbits are harmed in the making of this yarn!
